Participating in the concluding ceremony held at the Vitthal Eshwar Temple in Kubheer Mandal, he appreciated the commitment of the villagers who follow these traditions every year.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Patel remarked that being located near the Maharashtra border, the constituency cherishes its unique tradition of celebrating Tal Saptami in every village. The week-long celebrations inspire villagers to abstain from alcohol and meat, promoting devotion and discipline. Morning rituals like Kakad Harathi, evening bhajans, and cultural programs featuring local artists and spiritual teachings enrich the celebrations.
He expressed happiness over the enthusiasm of Kubheer residents in conducting the celebrations with devotion. Calling the Vitthal Eshwar Temple the “second Pandharipur,” he assured his dedication to its development. The temple committee honored MLA Patel with a shawl during the event. He also participated in rituals by playing the Veena and offering prayers.
Several local leaders, including Boyidi Vittal, Gulab Naik, Uppu Dattu, Vaidya Nath, Pat Laxman, Puppala Lingam, and Ennela Nagender, along with temple president Pentaji and leaders from Kuntala Mandal like Vengal Rao, were present during the event.
