On November 21, President Draupadi Murmu arrived in Hyderabad for a one-day visit. She was welcomed by Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, and other dignitaries at Begumpet Airport. The President will attend the 21st convocation at NALSAR University and inaugurate the Indian Cultural Festival at the Presidential Residence in Bollaram.
President Draupadi Murmu arrived in Hyderabad on November 21 for a one-day visit. Upon arrival at Begumpet Airport, she was warmly welcomed by Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, and ministers, including Smt. Satyavati Rathod and P. Srinivas Reddy, along with the Mayor of Hyderabad.
Following her arrival, President Murmu is set to attend the 21st convocation ceremony at NALSAR University of Law in Shamshabad as the chief guest. She will then proceed to the Presidential Residence in Bollaram, where she will inaugurate the Indian Cultural Festival, a major event celebrating the heritage of the northeastern states of India.
The state government has ensured all necessary arrangements are in place to avoid any inconvenience during her visit. The President’s visit is also significant as she is inaugurating the eight-day-long Indian Cultural Festival, which will showcase various performances and cultural exhibitions.
Minister Satyavati Rathod has been appointed as the Minister-in-Waiting for the President’s visit. She will accompany President Murmu throughout her stay in Hyderabad, ensuring a smooth and successful event.
