Warangal District: November 19
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy criticized the BRS government for neglecting the construction of the Kalajyothi Kala Kshetra in Warangal, despite being in power for ten years. He stated that once he assumed office, he expedited the construction process, and the inauguration of the center took place today.
He further criticized the BRS government for hindering progress, alleging that while the government failed to act, it placed obstacles in the path of those trying to complete development works. Revanth Reddy also mentioned that KCR’s loans had resulted in high interest burdens in the thousands of crores. He stressed that the Congress government in Telangana was actively implementing several schemes for women’s welfare and affirmed that KCR’s plant would never sprout in Telangana.
Revanth Reddy warned that attempts to block development with hired men would not be tolerated, and urged that the government should be accountable. He accused the BRS government of selling lands within the Hyderabad GHMC jurisdiction.
Further, he targeted KCR, calling him the leader of the “liquor mafia” in Telangana, claiming that KCR was intent on drowning the state in alcohol and drugs to impair the public’s judgment. He also alleged that the BRS government aimed to bring harm to women through its policies regarding alcohol distribution.
On the issue of women’s development, Revanth Reddy remarked that KCR did not support women’s progress, while the Congress government was paving the way for women’s empowerment and freedom from patriarchal systems.
Finally, CM Revanth Reddy acknowledged the efforts of Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who had been entrusted with planning and overseeing Warangal’s development. He congratulated the Minister for taking responsibility and effectively moving forward with the tasks at hand.
